Welcome to Gainesville Karma Thegsum Choling (GKTC), a Buddhist meditation and practice center in the Tibetan Karma Kagyu tradition.

We are an affiliate center ofKarma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), the North American home of His Holiness Orgyen Trinley Dorje, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa.

A Free Beginner Class:
"Introduction to Buddhism"
This six week series will begin soon. If you would like to be informed of the time and location, please submit your email info to our secretary.

You will learn about techniques that you may use to work with body, speech, and mind to wake you up to your true nature—your enlightened heart.

At GKTC, you will hear teachings from an unbroken lineage that emphasizes the practice of meditation and study.

We meet at Liberty Center,
3131 NW 13th St, Gainesville, Florida, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Sunday.

chenrezig bodhisattva Our meetings include sitting meditation, dharma teachings, and chanting of Chenrezik and Amitabha sadhanas led by Lama David Bole.

These practices awaken the energy of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, and Amitabha, the Buddha of Boundless Light in our daily lives.
